Carden to be Chamber banquet speaker
"Clarinda native will highlight annual event's 'Change Your Environment By Changing You' theme"
A Clarinda native will be returning to his hometown Monday, Jan. 23, to serve as the speaker for the Clarinda Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet. Chad Carden, who is recognized as a leading entrepreneur and businesses consultant, will discuss his results-oriented style that helps people change the way they look at life and business.
The banquet will be held at J’s Pizza and Steak House, located at 108 E. Washington St., starting with a social time at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m. with the program at 7:30 p.m. The theme for the banquet is “Change Your Environment, By Changing You.”
Carden has put that philosophy to use over the past 12 years as he has been consulting, coaching and speaking with companies across the world focusing on sales, sales management, executive coaching and keynote speaking.
He is the author of “P.E.P.P. – Preparation, Execution, Persistence and Patience” as well as the book “Winning The Money Game.”
“Chad Carden is a dynamic speaker and will definitely provide an excellent motivational message. We are pleased to have Chad, a former Clarinda High School graduate, speak at this year’s Chamber Annual Banquet,” Chamber director Elaine Farwell said.
Sponsors of the presentation are Bank Iowa, The Herald-Journal, Clarinda Regional Health Center, Clarinda Youth Corp., Page County Federal Savings Association and Page County State Bank.
Dinner reservations for the banquet are $20 per person and can be made by calling the Chamber office at (712) 542-2166. The deadline for reservations is Friday, Jan. 20.
“The banquet is a great opportunity to thank our dedicated volunteers, officers and committee chairs for their dedication during 2011,” Farwell said.
