Paul Long’s Bio
Paul Long graduated from the University of Missouri - Kansas City with a degree in Business Administration. Following graduation, Paul accepted a position as an underwriter with Farmers Insurance and quickly began his ascension through the corporate ranks. In 2006, Paul joined the Farmers Training Team where he excelled at facilitating the growth of new and existing employees by engaging them in a fun and upbeat learning environment.
Paul's passion for developing others earned him recognition early and provided him the opportunity to lead his own training team within just 6 months of being promoted. He accepted a position as Farmers Training Supervisor in Austin, Texas, and helped open the second of Farmers' three ServicePoint facilities nationwide.
In 2007, Paul returned to Kansas City and began leading his own underwriting team for Farmers. Paul's uncanny knack for influencing others presented a rare opportunity for him to team up with The Next Level Sales Consulting in presenting a ground breaking cultural change for Farmers Insurance.
Today, Paul continues to share his vision of leadership development by traveling regularly to train leaders on the importance of building relationships and focusing on the growth of each employee. Paul believes strongly in the importance of leading change as expressed in the following quote:
