Matthew Hawk’s Bio
Matthew Hawk combines over 20 years experience in executive management, corporate training, Ivy League academics, and publishing to help sales and customer service teams achieve uncommon results. Dr. Hawk has delivered thousands of training and consulting events for large sales-focused organizations, to include Microsoft, A.G. Edwards, America Online, DIRECTV, GE, Morgan Stanley, State Farm, Southern Connecticut State University, Automobile Insurance Specialists (AIG subsidiary), MetLife and Yale University.
Dr. Hawk's sales and executive management career includes roles at the Gartner Group and U.S. Interactive, where he was Vice President of Corporate Sales. As a consultant, Dr. Hawk has designed and delivered dozens of performance improvement programs for individual contributors, line managers, and senior managers.
Matthew’s areas of expertise include financial services sales, customer retention, customer contact centers, sales/service leadership training, and train-the-trainer programs. As a Project Leader, Matthew has successfully delivered multiple solutions for large enterprises involving 1,000's of salespeople in multiple onshore and offshore locations.
Dr. Hawk earned his B.A. from Westmont College, an M.A. from Yale Divinity School, and his Ph.D. in comparative cultures from Yale Graduate School. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
